Our Crew members are the life blood of GYG. You are on the front line, greeting guests, taking orders, rolling burritos, re-stocking the fridges, basic food prep, wiping tables, and learning other roles across the team. The Cook is at the heart of the restaurant operations. You will be preparing fresh and delicious food, problem solving and weighing-in with expertise on vibrant Mexican flavours. You’ll have the opportunity to utilise fresh ingredients to produce the highest quality food for our guests.
The Head Cook is responsible for ensuring kitchen quality standards are always complied with. You’ll support recruitment, training, and development of kitchen crew, supporting the restaurant manager with P&L results and ensuring food safety and WH&S policies and procedures are adhered to.
The Shift Leader is responsible for leading crew during specific periods of trade, motivating and engaging the team on shift by championing our food safety and quality standards. You will lead the team through busy service periods, crew training and proactively improving guest experience.
The Assistant Restaurant Manager oversees the people and food departments to support daily restaurant management. You will lead the team through busy service periods and training, support inventory and financial management and proactively improve guest experience.
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the general running and financial performance of the restaurant, overseeing quality, managing inventory and ensuring adherence to procedures whilst training and developing the team to consistently produce remarkable guest experiences.
